Get FIT in AI.
Fitness for the future.

Schools move slowly. AI moves fast. Your child's future workplace is already changing.

We are not a school. We are not educators. FITinAI is a free home companion that parents and children work through together — the way you might practise maths or biology at home — to learn the basics of AI, the ethics, and how to actually use it well.

AI reshapes roles — new ones emerge, some evolve Ages 4–18

Why this website exists

The kids who don't learn AI now will be the left-behind generation of tomorrow.

In the 1990s, the internet and mobile phones arrived. Some families embraced them. Others waited for schools, employers and society to explain what to do. The children who had early access quietly moved ahead — and that digital gap shaped careers for decades.

AI is the next shift — only faster and bigger. It is already changing how people work, study, create and make decisions. Entry-level jobs are changing this year, not someday. By the time today's children enter work, AI fluency will be treated like email or internet literacy: a basic skill employers assume they already have.

Schools care deeply, but changing a curriculum, training staff and approving new resources takes years. AI tools change every month. If families wait for the traditional curriculum to catch up, children may spend the most important early years watching this change from the sidelines.

That is why parents need to act now. Not by handing a child a chatbot and walking away, but by learning alongside them: setting boundaries, asking questions, checking answers and showing them that AI should support their thinking, never replace it.

You do not need to be a technology expert. You simply need to start before waiting becomes falling behind.

1990s

Internet & mobile phones arrive. Some adapt. Some don't. The gap defines careers for 30 years.

Today

AI arrives. The same fork in the road — but the gap will open in 5 years, not 30.

2035

Today's children graduate into a world where AI fluency is assumed. We can prepare them now — or watch them catch up later.

Why now

The ground is shifting under our kids' feet.

Entry-level jobs

15%

of entry-level jobs are forecast to be replaced by AI in the next few years. The first rung of the career ladder is changing now — not in ten years.

By 2035

85%

of jobs will require AI literacy. Not coding — literacy. The kind of everyday capability your child's future employer will expect them to bring on day one.

The FITinAI principle

AI supports, never substitutes.

We don't hand the thinking over. We use AI to learn faster, ask sharper questions and notice when something doesn't smell right. The child stays in the driver's seat. Always.

What AI is really for

AI is not for the next spaghetti recipe.

Most people use ChatGPT to write an email or plan a holiday. That's the shallow end. The real power is using AI to research deeply, to debate ideas, and — crucially — to question what AI itself tells you. The first answer is rarely the right answer.

Deep research

Use AI to dig into a topic properly — sources, counter-arguments, the history behind the headline — not just the one-paragraph summary.

Debate & question

Push back. Ask "are you sure?", "what's the other side?", "where did that come from?". The conversation is where the learning happens.

Cross-check with AI

Research on ChatGPT, then run it past DeepSeek, then check it with Claude. AI checks AI. That's how you spot hallucinations and deepfakes before they fool you.
